Speak Up Without Spiralling!
Wednesday 23 September 2026 | 7:00pm | Live on Zoom
90 minutes | £47
The problem is not that you have nothing to say…
You know your work and you often have a point worth making.
The difficulty is getting it out while the conversation is moving. You are still working out how to phrase it, whether it adds enough and when to come in. You do not want to speak simply for the sake of being visible.
By the time you decide, someone else has made the point or the conversation has moved on.
Sometimes you stay quiet and replay the missed opportunity afterwards. Sometimes you speak, then wonder whether you rambled, used the wrong words or explained yourself properly.
It can leave other people seeing less of your judgement and capability than is actually there.
Visibility does not mean filling every silence or becoming the loudest person in the room. It means allowing people to hear enough of your thinking to understand what you bring.
What we will work on
Who this is for
Speak Up Without Spiralling will help you:
Identify the main point you want people to understand
Decide when your contribution will add value without setting the bar impossibly high
Structure your point so it is clear and easy to follow
Enter a fast-moving conversation without waiting for the perfect gap
Speak without trying to use more complicated or “senior” vocabulary
Recover if you lose your words, get interrupted or do not explain something perfectly
Review how it went without replaying every word afterwards
You will leave with a repeatable way to organise your point, practical language for entering conversations and tools you can use in your next meeting.
This workshop is for women who think of the clearest version of their point after the meeting, worry that they ramble or do not sound articulate enough, or hold back more when senior people are present.
It is for women who know staying quiet is affecting their visibility, but do not want to speak simply to be noticed.
This is not public speaking training or a lesson in performing confidence. It focuses on the everyday moments at work when you need to make your thinking visible.
The workshop will be practical and supportive. There will be opportunities to try the tools, but you will not be called or expected to share anything personal.

About Me
I’m Elena Boon-Grey, founder of The Next Level.
I have spent years working in senior transformation, programme and consulting roles, alongside supporting experienced professionals to position themselves for better roles, better pay and greater visibility.
My work focuses on the gap between how capable a woman is and how much of that capability other people actually get to see.
Speak Up Without Spiralling addresses one of the most common places that gap appears: the moment when you have something worthwhile to contribute, but cannot access or express it quickly enough.
